Deningrad

First Impressions

Commander: "It is impossible for such a creature to exist."
Miranda: "You idiot! Talking about the enemy based on mere assumptions!"
Miranda's first appearance is far from delightful. Shortly after the Divine Dragon's first raid on the Crystal Palace, Miranda received a report from the Knight Commander. However she was less than impressed by his report. In his opinion, there was no way the Knights could fight against the monster. This just upset Miranda as she did not believe in assumptions or speculation. Such things would only get the Knights into danger.
Luckly Sacred Sister Luanna showed up with Dart and his group with a plan to stop the Divine Dragon's rampage. Miranda was also unimpressed with Dart and found him to be overconfident. While Rose explained that they were going to meet the Dragon, Meru accidentally revealed that she was aware of the Wingly Forest and the Dragon Block Staff. Miranda decided that she would join the group and travel to the Wingly Forest to request their assistance. She wasn't entirely sure of their strength and wanted to see if Dart was as strong as the legend said.
Miranda was not pleased with the idea of leaving the fate of the country in these strangers hands. She was not stupid enough to think her knights could take on the Divine Dragoon though. She intended to watch the group and make sure they were what they said they were.
Dragoon Spirit

Miranda: "Hey! What's going on!? What is this stone!?"
During this time, Shana had wandered off and ended up in the Signet Sphere room. When the group found her, Shana rejected the White-Silver Dragoon spirit which immediately chose Miranda as its new host. Shana passed out and Miranda was left as the new White-Silver Dragoon. Unfortunately they still needed to travel to the Wingly Forest. Shana was left behind at the palace. Each of the Dragoons gave her words of encouragement. Shana asked Miranda to protect the group in her place and Miranda agreed.
Miranda was able to understand the desires of Shana to protect her friends and was willing to take up that responsibility for her. Shana was no longer able to travel with them and Miranda had also taken her Dragoon spirit. She likely felt obligated to pick up where Shana left off because of this.
