Wingly Forest
Ancestor Blano: "Let us put the power of the Dragoons and our wisdom together."
Miranda: "You will let us borrow your Dragon Block Staff!"
Although Rose had known all along, Meru revealed to the group that she was really a Wingly like Lloyd. She also opened the passage into the Wingly Forest so the group could obtain the Dragon Block Staff. Miranda was angry at first. She didn't understand why Meru had not told them this important piece of information sooner. However Miranda soon understood when Meru asked if she would still call her a friend if she had known Meru was a Wingly.
Unfortunately Meru and her friends are not welcome in the forest. Luckily the Ancestor was aware of their arrival and allowed them to meet with him. Miranda was not thrilled that the Winglies were thinking of blocking their way and even suggested breaking through in order to save Deningrad. She does demonstrate her shaky diplomatic skills later on when they meet Blanco and remembers to thank him for his kindness.
Forbidden Land
Meru: "This is the Dragon Block Staff!!"
Miranda: "It doesn't look very impressive."
Miranda was the first to comment on the size of the Dragon Block Staff. She felt it wasn't going to be enough to take on the Divine Dragon. Rose reminded her that magical items cannot be judged by their size. It happened that staff had been sealing the Divine Dragon for more than 10,000 years. Miranda again jumped to conclusions and made the reverse judgement. In that case, the Divine Dragon would be no match for them as long as they had the staff. Rose also reminded Miranda that this was the DIVINE Dragon and they would have reason to give thanks for winning.
At the same time, Dart, Albert and Rose started a conversation about Lloyd and his intentions. At the mention of Divine Moon Objects, Miranda became quiet and defensive. She did not know how these people knew about the Moon Mirror and did not wish to speak of it. It was not their concern and they had more important things to deal with such as getting the staff.
Unfortunately while the group fought the Grand Jewel, the Divine Dragon took another run at Deningrad.
Destruction
Dart: "We're too late!!"
Miranda: "Is, is this Deningrad!? The Crystal Palace is destroyed!!"
Miranda returned to Deningrad in distress as she returned to piles of rubble. The group quickly rushed to the remains of the Crystal Palace fearing the worst. Miranda stumbled across Luanna and Setie who both appeared alright. Luanna inquired about the staff and was relieved to know they had obtained it. She was sure there was going to be an other raid on the city. The Divine Dragon was a black mass of hate and there was no question about a next time.
Miranda and Dart rushed upstairs to find Shana and Queen Theresa. Dart was initially frightened when he discovered Shana's room was destroyed however he was informed that Shana must be upstairs in the throne room with the Queen. The two enter the room full of light. After the light diminished, it was revealed that Shana was the source of the glow. It turned out that her mysterious powers had shielded the entire palace from severe damage and was the sole reason everyone was alive. Miranda was overwhelmed that Queen Theresa was already and proclaimed that Shana had brought Crystal Palace a miracle. Shana did not feel the same way and was upset that this power was also bring people pain and misery. She soon fainted from her emotions.
Miranda apologized to Dart for her words. She had not known what Shana was going through and ended up causing her excess pain by calling her a miracle. Dart responded by leaving for Mortal Dragon Mountain. He knew that Shana needed him however he was also aware of the greater good. The Divine Dragon was a threat to everyone and Shana would not want him to stay with her when others would die because of it. He asked Miranda to take care of Shana however she would have none of it. Miranda was also a Dragoon and it was her duty to defeat the enemy of Mille Seseau. She had also promised Shana to take care of the group and intended on keeping that promise.
Mortal Dragon Mountain
Miranda "Stay on guard here. We are off to defeat the monster. "
With Miranda, the group is able to pass the guard in front of the mountain and engage the Divine Dragon. Miranda responded to Meru's joke about leaving this fight to the rest with a sharp comment about her running back to the forest. Meru immediately reminded her that the group was nothing without her. Miranda also found Lloyd to be a distraction at first and yelled at the group to concentrate on the dragon. She would soon find out what a bad idea that was.
With the Divine Dragon dead and the Dragon Block Staff broken, Lloyd was able to obtain the Divine Dragoon Spirit. Luckily it did not recognize him however he was able to make an escape. During the chase, Dart and Rose were knocked off a cliff by a fireball. At this moment it is revealed that Lloyd is also a Wingly like Meru. After Rose and Dart are saved by Meru, Miranda had no choice but tell the group about the Moon Mirror. She explained the objects were brought by Winglies and given to the three countries. Because of a horrible power within them, the Moon Mirror was hidden as a secret national treasure. It was also explained that the sovereign was the key to the hiding place. Miranda immediately understood that Queen Theresa was in danger and rushed back to the palace.
